This is a simple tool for removing backgrounds from images (not with AI) in a way that gives you more direct control. It also has features for slicing frames from an image and also for creating gifs. It also can export as jpg/png/ico. There's a few other features such as a lasso tool for protecting content from being removed and things like that. There is a help button in the app with all relevant info.
